ISO features two key aspects, which differentiate from other conference chair designs. As with most chairs, we're talking about frame and upholstery:
ISO Chair Oval Section Frame:
A wide oval frame section allows for lightweight 18 gauge wall thickness. Such wall thickness is not suitable for square or round section frames (at least not without additional bracing), however ISO's oval frame is quite suited to sustained contract use and allows for easy stacking where required.
ISO Chair Contoured Seat & Back:
Following recognisable European & Scandinavian design principles, ISO features generously sculpted seat & back boards, for comfort during prolonged use. The most popular versions also include 1.5" foam which follows the curved line of the board, finished in Severe Contract fabric for comfort & durability.
Low Cost By Design:
As a chair system, ISO is extremely versatile, lending itself to plastic, shaped-plywood and upholstered seat & back with up to three armrest options. All configurations will stack with ease, due to the load being dispersed evenly across the relatively wide oval frame. Further to this, ISO is available with two flexible writing tablet options, in plastic or wood finish.
The nature of this design allows for huge cost savings in manufacture; a single frame may be adapted into many chair types which subsequently reduces the cost of the entire range.
